May 24 all-day
Victory Riding Academy (VRA) is proud to be a part of this year’s Omaha Gives!, a one-day online fundraising event organized by the Omaha Community Foundation held on May 24 to raise support for nonprofits. VRA has been utilizing the healing power of horses to enrich the lives of active duty Military, Veterans, Police, Fire, First Responders, their families and the community for the past 4 years. Each year, the number of people whose lives are affected by PTSD increases, and our services are needed more and more on a consistent basis. It is our mission to help improve the quality of life for students with equine-facilitated activities and help students persevere, overcome and conquer any of life’s challenges. Currently we must close when it becomes too muddy, snowy or cold. Because of the increasing need for assistance, VRA has committed to building a new indoor riding arena to offer our programs not only on a consistent basis but year-round. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation by scheduling your donation starting May 1 st or on May 24 th through Omaha Gives! by visiting http://omahagives.org/VRA. All monies raised will be used to secure the materials and to construct our new arena.
